Date: Tuesday 5 July 2022 (Please note there are two visits on this day both near Milborne Port, Frith House is in the morning and Ven House in the afternoon. Parking is limited, please try to share cars )

About the garden: Approached down a ong drive with fine views across Bulbarrow, Hambledon Hill and Dorset Gap. There are four acres of garden around an Edwardian house and self-contained hamlet. The house is terraced, edged by rose borders and features a Lutyensesque wall fountain and game larder.
You will find well stocked kitchen gardens and woodland walks with masses of bluebells in the Spring. There is also a garden with pretty walks set amidst a working farm.
Other information: Dogs are allowed on short leads. The owners are happy for people to bring a picnic. Or alternatively in Milborne Port there is an excellent little fish restaurant above the chippie, or The Clock Spire restaurant for a more expensive lunch.
Directions: Five miles East of Sherborne. Between Milborne Port and Stalbridge, From A30 follow sign to Stalbridge for 1 mile. From Stalbridge turn West by Post Office for 2 miles.
