Charles Chesshire is a garden designer and lecturer whose creations can be found as far afield as New York, Long Island, Saudi Arabia, London and France.
He has been curator of Burford House Gardens and a consultant to Sudeley Castle and Sezincote gardens. His nursery offers a wide range of unusual plants including Clematis, Itoh Peonies, Maples, Camellias, lace-cap and species hydrangeas as well as a great selection of other shrubs and herbaceous plants.
Charles will give us a short talk about intersectional peonies, one of his special interests, which should be at their very best in June , and he will then guide us around pointing out interesting plants. You are then welcome to wander around on your own and Charles will be on hand to answer your questions.
Please note the nursery is closed to the public on Mondays.
